Dr. Sujatha Fernandes, Professor of Political Economy and Sociology at the University of Sydney, and a visiting scholar at the Center for Place, Culture, and Politics at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York, discusses her latest book Curated Stories: The Uses and Misuses of Storytelling (Oxford University Press, 2017) about how the power of storytelling can sometimes undermine structural changes in society.
